Week 38- Last Week of Kindergarten!

Can you believe we made it to the last week of kindergarten?! I guess time flies when your having fun. A couple quick reminders as we prepare for the last days before summer. Look for summer a review packet coming home with your child on Tuesday. It would be good practice to review a couple pages a week and continue to read nightly. Your child's t-shirt for promotion will come home with them on Wednesday. Your child may wear this shirt on Friday with their uniform bottoms. Our Promotion Ceremony is this Thursday 05/23, refer to the email previously sent for more detailed information.
We had our end of the year staff get together this weekend! Mrs. Worthy and I got to pose for a belly pic! <3
Both Baby W's.. soon to be best of friends!

Happy 6th Birthday Bernardo!

Here's a look at the last week!

Spalding:There will be no new words or test this week. We will use our time to review any phonograms and words that have been taught.

Sight Words:  We have now learned all of our sight word lists so we will use this time to review. It will be good practice to review your child’s sight word lists throughout the summer.

Literature:  Our story this week is, “The Wolf and the Seven Kids.” We will compare and contrast the story with another wolf tale “Little Red Riding Hood.” We will finish our “Kindergarten Memories,” book and take them home.

Math: This week we will be going back in our book to complete a few pages for review.  We will also be doing a review packet to end the year and prepare for summer.  Don’t forget to keep working on math over the summer!

Science: We will use this short week of science (only Monday and Tuesday) to review animals and their habitats. Students will sort animals by the habitat they live and will also get to choose an animal in class to do research on.
